Louise McMinn, eighth grade Science teacher, was selected to receive the CT Science Teachers Association's "Excellence in Secondary Science Teaching Award" for 2009-2010. This award is given to those who have demonstrated excellence in classroom science teaching as well as those who have contributed professionally by providing workshops and/or support for colleagues, and have demonstrated dedication to personal and professional growth by participating in conferences and workshops, and have been productive participants in extra-curricular activities and community projects.
